Pictet brings Luxembourg to UK

PICTET Funds, the Swiss fund manager, plans to offer its institutional Luxembourg fund range to the UK retail market next year.

The fund management arm of Pictet Asset Management intends to convert the range, currently an FCP structure primarily used by institutional investors, to a more retail-friendly SICAV in the coming months. Provided this goes ahead, it will then apply for distributor status for the range, or parts of it, and create sterling share classes for funds that will be promoted to UK retail investors.
