New Star has announced former RCM manager Trevor Green will take control of the equity portion in its Managed Distribution fund, replacing Toby Thompson.
The firm says the move will allow Thompson to focus on his responsibility as manager of the New Star Higher Income fund. Gregor Logan remains as in charge of the Managed Distribution fund, with Green responsible for UK equity stock selection and James Gledhill is accountable for the fixed income component. Prior to joining New Star last week – Green managed RCM’s UK Growth, UK High Alpha and UK Mid-Cap fund funds.
