Skandia has appointed eight managers including M&G, New Star and Schroders to manage the retail portion of its risk-targeted multi-manager fund range, Spectrum.
The range, which Skandia hopes to launch on 28 April, includes 10 asset classes and 26 fund managers. Retail investors will have access to seven asset classes run by eight fund managers. Skandia has designed the funds for advisers using its risk profiling and asset allocation tools. The tools enable advisers to determine a client’s risk profile on a scale of one to 10, with the Spectrum funds providing ready-made investment options for risk levels three to eight.
