The UK Government has no plans to examine its constitutional relationship with the Isle of Man (IoM) following a "reassuring" meeting in London between Lord Chancellor Jack Straw and IoM chief minister Tony Brown.
Officials at the crown dependency had requested a summit with Straw after comments earlier this month from Alistair Darling, who said the UK would have to take a "long, hard look" at that "tax haven sitting in the Irish Sea" in the wake of the Icelandic banking crisis.
