Clerical Medical launches IFA investment solution

Clerical Medical has launched an investment arm to help bridge the gap between providers and the end sale, making advisers' jobs easier.

Clerical Medical Investment Solutions (CMIS) will introduce a range of 36 funds to the market, including mutual funds for the first time. It has also expanded its investment committee which it says will “ensure mandates are met”. In addition, CMIS is set to launch a portfolio modeling tool to help advisers select appropriate funds for their clients. “In this market people are going to be looking at returns and questioning the methods advisers use,” says John Van Der Wielen, managing director at Clerical Medical. “We are trying to be a conduit between the provider and the end sale.” ...
