Premier hires hedge specialist for Dividend fund

Premier Asset Management has appointed hedge fund specialist Chris Wright who will be responsible for the Premier Dividend fund.

Wright will take over from Paul Branigan on 1 September. Branigan has recently won another absolute growth mandate and will also focus on his expanding role as chief investment officer. Previously at Thames River Capital, Wright was responsible for pan European stock picking and use of derivatives. He has also worked on the sell side at Collins Stewart, ABN Ambro and BZW as well as managing the UK equity portfolio of the BA pension fund.
