Virtual underwriter tool launched by progress

Protection provider progress from Royal Liver has launched an online virtual tool offering answers for advisers on the most frequent protection queries.

The Virtual Underwriter, launched today, uses multi-media software to provide video answers to a number of the most commonly asked non-case specific questions. Other answers are available in text. The firm says its video answers archive is already fairly extensive but plans to add to it where necessary to cover all protection bases. At the very least, it adds, an adviser will get a written answer to their query and can also telephone a trained underwriter direct.
