AITC drops its 'T'

A new logo has been unveiled as part of the Association of Investment Trust Companies' change to its new name.

The Association of Investment Companies name goes live on 1 October, some five months after the organisation announced the change from the AITC to the Association of Investment Companies, in response to an uplift in membership inquiries from other types of investment companies. Some 70 venture capital trusts have joined in the past few months, as well as 4 UK investment companies and five offshore investment companies. The new name will be pronounced as separate letters 'A - I - C' - rather than a contraction similar to “ache” or “Ike”. A new website will also be available at www.t...
