Zurich hires UK IFA sales director

Zurich has appointed Richard Howells from Bankhall as UK IFA sales director to help boost its expansion plans.

From 17 November, Howells will be responsible for delivering Zurich UK Life’s distribution strategy and leading a growing sales team. He will report to David Etherington, Zurich UK Life’s chief growth officer and will be located in Swindon. Prior to joining Zurich, Howells was managing director of strategy and development at Bankhall. In his 20 year career in financial services, he has also held senior positions at Berkeley Berry Birch and Burns Anderson. Etherington says Howells’ recruitment is “a key stepping stone towards achieving our ambitious growth plan in the IFA market”. ...
