The youngest billionaires from across the globe have lost almost a third of their wealth, according to Forbes rich list.
The average net worth of billionaires under 40 is now almost $2.9bn, plunging 30% since last year, reports the BBC. At 25, $2.1bn German car-racing bachelor Prince Albert von Thurn und Taxis is the youngest billionaire to grace the list. However, his fortune declined by 10% over the year as the financial downturn hit his family's forestry holdings and real estate. Their wealth was gained centuries ago when they had a monopoly running the postal system.
