Aviva UK Equity Income manager Roberts joins Gartmore

He will join in mid-July and will take over Chris Burvill's £137m UK Equity Income fund, leaving him to concentrate solely on his £639m Cautious Managed fund. Roberts' top-decile UK Equity Income vehicle will be picked up by Chris Murphy, who currently runs the UK Equity and UK Growth funds for Aviva Investors.
