The FTSE 100 has rebounded from yesterday's drop adding 42.1 points, or 0.7%, to 6150.70 with Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton led mining shares higher.
Rio Tinto has gained 1.9% to 2,727p after yesterday's 3.3% decline. BHP Billiton has also added 2% to 1,013p. It retreated 1.6% yesterday. Man Group has jumped 3.3% to 475p. The company has appointed bankers to advise on the future of its Man Financial brokerage business, according to reports. Meanwhile Reuters has lost 2.3% to 427p after saying sales this quarter are unlikely to be as strong as the year-earlier period, partly hurt by a weaker US dollar. Third-quarter revenue climbed 3.3%, the company has reported today. Legal & General has added 1.4% to 141.75p. Britain's fourth-bigge...
