L&G to launch Dynamic Bond Trust to retail market

Legal & General will launch its Dynamic Bond Trust to the retail market on 31 March.

Fund manager Dickie Hodges has run the fund, which requires a £500 minimum investment, since its launch in April 2007. He says: “The fund is fully UCITS III compliant and is a genuinely unconstrained bond fund. Being able to manoeuvre around physical bond holdings by the use of derivatives gives me flexibility unavailable to a traditional bond fund.” Since launch, the fund is ranked 9/52 in the UK Other Bond Sector(source Trustnet). The fund has a 3% initial charge for retail investors, a 1.255% AMC and 0.03% charge for estimated extra expenses. There are no exit fees. L&G has £108b...
