Lazard Asset Management (LAM) has appointed Rory Williams as strategic alliances manager.

Williams will have responsibility for maintaining and developing relationships with strategic distribution partners, including life companies, fund and wrap platforms plus SIPP providers. He was most recently wealth management development director at Friends Provident, having spent the past 14 years with the company. Williams was responsible for the distribution strategy of the wealth management business. Prior to this, Williams spent five years as IFA sales manager for the City and West End.
