Webline reaches 100m quotes

Online quote and apply portal, Webline, has reached its 100 millionth quote since launching in 2000 it was announced today.

The online tool for advisers, part of the Capita Enabler proposition, now has over 20,000 end users and more than 1,000 have joined Webline since the beginning of 2007. Paul Holland, chairman of Webline, says: “We are extremely proud to announce that we have facilitated over 100 million product quotations. This is a clear indication of how fast we are growing.” As well as core protection products, the Webline portal also includes pensions, income protection and general insurance from a range of providers.
