James Hay adds UBS bond to wrap platform

James Hay has added the UBS Corporate Bond UK Plus fund to its wrap platform, taking its total number of funds on its wrap to 1,164 from 50 providers.

UBS Corporate Bond Fund UK Plus fund is a fixed income fund that uses derivative-based strategies. Shaun Sandiford, regional sales director at James Hay, says: “In difficult bond markets, fixed income fund managers are increasingly using UCITS 3 flexibility to enhance returns using derivative such as swaps and futures. Many of these strategies, pioneered in liability driven investing, have only been available in the institutional market.” The James Hay SIPP and Wrap businesses have over £12 billion under administration.
