Williams de Broë buys Singer & Friedlander IM

Williams de Broë will acquire the assets and investment team of stricken UK discretionary manager Singer & Friedlander IM, for an undisclosed amount.

A subsidiary of nationalised Icelandic bank Kaupthing, Singer & Friedlander has been in administration since 8 October. Part of the Evolution Group, Williams de Broë intends to move Singer’s AUM to its existing platforms. Williams de Broë CEO Alex Snow says Evolution and its subsidiaries remain “extremely well capitalised”.
