Over 100,000 Brits plan move abroad - Sainsbury's Bank

Over 100,000 UK homeowners are planning to move overseas before the end of the year, a new survey by Sainsbury's Bank reveals.

Latest findings by the bank suggest some 112,000 homeowners are considering joining the 1.4m Britons who are already own a property abroad, within the next six months. A majority of those looking at moving overseas belong to the older generation, with some 53% being age 55 or over. If this trend continues, one in eight Britons aged over 55 could be living abroad within the next eight years, the survey says.
