Financial advisers could gain an improved consumer presence on the internet through a service launched by Google which focuses on their local market.
Although the Google Local Search service was actually launched last April, the internet search facility is now increasing its focus on promoting services which are designed to highlight local businesses in a consumer’s chosen area. This service effectively acts as free advertising of a business until the consumer actually visits their website, and then ‘click per view’ fees are required.
