Phillips swaps Swip for Morley

Morley Fund Management has announced Chris Phillips, currently chief executive of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, will be its new chief executive from the summer.

Phillips has been chief executive of SWIP since 2003 and, prior to this, he was chief executive of Royal London Asset Management. He is also the chairman of the Association of British Insurers’ (ABI) investment committee. Phillip Scott, chairman of Morley Fund Management, says the appointment marks the next stage of development at Morley, with fund management continuing to be an integral part of Aviva’s growth strategy.
