iimia adds another planning practice to its advice operation

Portfolio management and advisory firm iimia has acquired Kettering-based financial planning practices Solace Associates Limited, further its move into the financial planning market.

Having recently acquired Northampton-based Compton House, iimia has now widened its remit to hold around £220m of assets under management and expand slightly beyond financial planning as Solace was first established in 2001 by four accountants and solicitors firms. iimia also owns Eveleigh & Huckle, the Bournemouth financial planning practice which merged with iimia last year.
