Telecoms continue joyride for FTSE

MmO2 is up 4.25p to 115.75p after analysts published notes upgrading their share price targets. The stock is up from 84p in late July this year, and up 15p, or 15% in the past month. Vodafone has added 3p to 146.75p after one of its competitors in the Greek market reported a surge in third quarter profits. Because of its capitalisation value Vodafone alone has boosted the FTSE index by nearly 7 points today. SABMiller, the brewer, is up 29p to 876p after reporting stronger sales of ‘lite’ beer, which are growing in popularity with western consumers on low carbohydrate diets. BOC, t...
