New Star has entrusted Hitesh Thakrar with the responsibility of turning around its ailing £41.59m Global Equity fund.
The fund is fourth quartile in the IMA Global Growth sector over one year and three years – having lost 24.14% over the year to 2 April. Outgoing manager Greg Kerr will continue at the firm, focusing on his North American mandates and institutional responsibilities.
