Gartmore Investment Management is to offer its funds via cross-border transaction network Calastone.
It comes after Gartmore's mutual fund third party administrator International Financial Data Services (IFDS) connected to Calastone. This will enable Gartmore to take advantage of efficiencies, such as the automation of the entire lifecycle of mutual fund trades including settlement. Calastone participants can experience straight-through processing regardless of their size or technology capabilities. Transactions can also be tracked and exceptions managed on a real-time basis.
