More than one in three Britons expects to have to work after reaching retirement age if they wish to maintain their lifestyle, research suggests.
Furthermore, 11% of those aged over 55 do not think they will have enough money to last them until the age of 70, according to the research conducted by Lincoln Financial Group. Lincoln's survey of Britons approaching retirement found 41% doubt they have enough savings to provide them with a comfortable retirement, with most saying they would need to work part-time to make up the shortfall. One in ten plan to go even further, and work full-time to fund their lifestyle in retirement.
