FundsNetwork adopts Morningstar qualitative reports

Fidelity FundsNetwork has adopted Morningstar's qualitative fund research to allow the fund supermarket's users access to independent fund analysis.

Morningstar says the supermarket is the first to license its qualitative research and analyst-driven ratings in the UK. The research reports review funds by using five 'pillars', which analysts use to anticipate future fund performance. The pillars are: People: the fund's manager and team Process: the fund's investment process and portfolio positioning Parent: the fund company and incentive structure Performance: fund returns and risk Price: the fund's expense level and structure "The detail provided in the Morningstar qualitative reports will allow advisers to get a real ...
