Legal & General (L&G) and fund platform provider Cofunds have announced an extension of their distribution relationship to 2013.
L&G says the extended contract underscores its commitment to broad distribution and utilising platform technology. Tim Breedon, L&G Group chief executive, says: “I am delighted we have broadened the product range available through Cofunds and extended the duration of our relationship. “We regard Cofunds as a very strong platform provider and an important partner in our distribution strategy.” The move follows the launch on the platform last year of an international bond from L&G’s new Republic of Ireland-based life company and a funds-only SIPP.
