Rod Davidson is joining Scottish Widows Investment Partnership as its global head of fixed income.
Reporting to Andrew November, chief investment officer for fixed income and property, Davidson – who was previously global head of fixed income at Aberdeen Asset Management – will focus on bond products aimed primarily at international markets but will also hold responsibility for the performance of SWIP’s £47bn fixed income portfolio. According to November, this latest move is part of the firm’s development of the international business, targetting clients in Europe and the US. IFAonline
