FP platform to offer income drawdown option

Policyholders will get access to income drawdown alternatives to standard annuities at maturity following another IT implementation by Friends Provident.

The provider’s so-called New Generation pension administration platform will add the offering by using technology and services from supplier Dunstan Thomas to push data from the front end to the back end for processing without needing to develop an entirely new platform. This change will rely on implementing some of DT’s Imago solutions, including ‘Administration’, ‘Illustrations’, and ‘Reviews’.
