Bob Bullivant is taking over as managing director at the Society of Financial Advisers, following the departure of Brian Lawless.
Former corporate development director at Britannic Retirement Solutions and IFA Bullivant will report to Sandy Scott at the Chartered Insurance Institute and begin work at SOFA on February 23rd. Lawless announced last year he would be stepping down as md and relocating to Exeter to become business development director at the Jelf Group. Once Bullivant has settled into his new role, his main priority will be to make SOFA the “gold standard” of financial advice and professional membership, which is recognised by the industry, consumers and regulatory or policy bodies.
