Walker Crips Asset Management is reopening its UK High Alpha fund subject to investor demand.

The £85m fund, which soft-closed in October 2008 after two years, will re-open with immediate effect. At 29 May, the fund is top quartile over 1m, 6m, 1y and 2y since launch. Managers Stephen Bailey and Jan Luthman will continue to run the portfolio, which seeks capital growth through actively managing a principally UK-based portfolio of equities and corporate and government bonds. According to Trustnet, the fund returned -19.4% against its IMA UK All Companies sector of -23.8% over the year to 1 June. [email protected] IFAonline
