Credit Suisse UK equities head Ashby moves to Aberdeen

Credit Suisse UK retail equities team head Graham Ashby is set to join Aberdeen Asset Managment at the conclusion of the takeover, ifaonline.co.uk's sister publication Investment Week understands.

Ashby and his income team are believed to be the only retail managers moving over to the enlarged group. Credit Suisse's income team also consists of Marcus Chandler, Mike Crawford and Mira Bhogaita. Ashby's £387m CS Income fund is top-quartile over one and three years, while £156m CS Monthly Income fund is also top-quartile over one year. Aberdeen last month outlined plans to merge up to 11 of the 16 UK Oeic funds it will acquire under the CSAM acquisition, which was first announced on 31 December last year. The Credit Suisse multi-manager funds were not part of the deal. IFAonline
