The FTSE 100 Index has dropped 12.3 points, or 0.2%, to 5748 points this morning, led by Cable & Wireless and Antofagasta.
Cable & Wireless has retreated 3.25p, or 3.2%, to 99p. UBS AG has cut its recommendation on the stock to "reduce" from "neutral", while Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank AG and HSBC Holdings have lowered their share-price estimates. Antofagasta has fallen 26p, or 1.3%, to 2,011p. Meanwhile, shares in BSkyB have risen more than 3% to lead the list of FTSE 100 risers after saying it has added a more-than-expected 215,000 customers to its pay-TV service in the second quarter.
