John Husselbee has insisted it is "business as usual" following the management buy-out of North Investment Partners from Neptune.
From October 1, the multi-manager boutique’s ownership transferred to Husselbee along with partners Rebecca Murphy and Oliver Wallin. Husselbee says the partners always knew the time would come to break away: “To be fair, even from start-up it was our intention to seek our independence, even though with Neptune we did operate independently and had our own offices,” he says. “We just felt like now was the right time to do it.” Husselby says a contributing factor was the ongoing development of its investment outsourcing service to IFA firms.
