New Star adds India fund to six platforms

New Star has added its recently-launched Indian Equity fund on six platforms.

The fund is available on the Cofunds, Funds Direct, Hargreaves Lansdown, Royal Skandia, Skandia and Transact platforms. Richard Wilson, marketing director at New Star, says: “We have seen strong demand for the New Star Indian Equity fund and look forward to working closely with the platforms to ensure that access to India’s exceptional growth potential is widely available.” Following the launch of the New Star Heart of Africa fund in November 2007, the launch of the Indian Equity fund is the next step in the expansion of New Star’s emerging market product range, says the company.
