AXA cuts rates across half of protection products

AXA has reduced the premiums across a range of its protection products, with an average cut of 1.5%.

The firm has revised its rates for Level Life Cover, Decreased Life Cover, Guaranteed Level Life or Earlier Critical Illness Cover, and Guaranteed Decreasing Life or Earlier Critical Illness Cover. The largest drop is in Decreasing life Cover for a 35-year-old female smoker, with a cut of 21% - from £14.67 to £11.58 a month There are also cuts of 12% (Level Life Cover), 17% (Joint Life Cover), and 8% (Decreasing Life or Earlier Critical Illness Cover).
