Advisers urged to add PMI to portfolios

Private Medical Insurance has never been easier to sell and advisers would do well to add it to their product portfolio, according to the creator of a new PMI guide for IFAs.

Journalist Rosanna Spero and Norwich Union Healthcare have teamed up to develop the guide, entitled Healthcare Revealed, which aims to help intermediaries navigate the complex market easier. The guide, launched on June 16 at the Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (AMII) conference, also highlights issues such as common misconceptions and exclusion issues of private medical insurance.
