Financial website for cancer patients launched

Omagh Independent Advice Service has launched a website for cancer patients to help them deal with the financial impact of sudden illness.

The funding has been provided by the Financial Services Authority’s (FSA) innovation fund, which was set up to help voluntary and not-for-profit organisations in the UK think of innovative ways to help people feel more confident about their money. The website aims to help with the financial impact of sudden illness and provides information on money matters such as mortgages, loans and insurance for cancer patients.
