Abbey Wrap throws out the bathwater

Abbey's wrap proposition is to rebrand as James Hay Wrap on 30 October, and will infuture rely on core software from InfoComp.

The initial change will come with a raft of upgrade improvements to the current offering, which will be detailed in IFA roadshows through October. The change marks a major change in tack for Abbey, which was one of the first wrap providers to launch a proposition into the UK market, but whose general handle on technology was cited as one of the reasons its acquisition by Santander made business sense - the Spanish bank said it saw efficiencies that could be had from changing Abbey's previous IT competencies.
