Scottish Provident has re-designed its self-assurance application form to help intermediaries and applicants avoid non-disclosure.
The provider says every aspect of the form has been reviewed and it claims it will be easier and less time-consuming to complete. Key changes include: More robust questions in the medical section, leaving less potential for inaccurate or missing information; Prompts to encourage applicants to weigh and measure themselves if they are in any doubt as to their actual measurements; Reminders on every page to provide accurate information and consult a doctor if unsure; A request for applicants to read the answers provided thoroughly before signing the declaration; and Details captur...
