Jefferies to leave Friends Provident

Friends Provident has announced Ian Jefferies, head of protection marketing, is leaving after 24 years at the company.

The firm says Jefferies’ decision to leave is an amicable one and he is now on three months’ gardening leave. It is understood he will be joining Fortis, but confirmation is still being sought. Friends Provident will announce a new head of protection marketing in due course.
