One million workers will have to rely solely on the State pension scheme to fund their retirement claims, according to research by B&CE Benefit Schemes.
Conducted by TNS to examine British workers’ attitudes towards income retirement planning, the research reveals 26% of workers are currently not saving at all for retirement, of these, 22%, the equivalent to one million people, are planning to rely entirely on the State pension for their retirement income.
