Skandia Investment Group (SIG) is poised to launch five US funds at a time of significant investment opportunities, according to the company.
SIG will launch two specialist funds, in addition to its three US funds announced earlier in the year, on 22 October. Operated by Skandia Global Funds(SGF), SIG’s Dublin-based fund company, the five funds have gathered assets outside the UK and already total $800m. Previously only available through Skandia’s European, Far East and Latin American businesses, the five funds are now awaiting FSA approval.
