Standard Life has launched a search to track down 200,000 people entitled to a slice of £184m in unclaimed shares and cash from its demutualisation.
Average entitlement is £863 for each person, with one individual, based in Derby at the time of demutualisation, yet to claim over 43,000 shares currently valued at nearly £100,000. Standard Life has enlisted the help of solicitors Georgeson to manage the search to match individuals to their unclaimed assets.
