Investment firms unveil New Year shake-ups

A number of investment companies have announced new appointments following New Year shake-ups.

Gartmore has revealed Simon Clark, formerly head of the intermediary sales team at Henderson Global Investors, will be joining the company today to take on the role of head of asset manager sales. In his new role Clark will report to Rodney Aldridge, head of UK retail distribution, and will be responsible for managing the asset manager sales team, and will also build on existing relationships with key London discretionary accounts.
