Jersey to see new securities director

Jerseys Financial Services Commission has appointed a new director of securities to start in mid-September.

David Banks will take up his new appointment on 18 September 2006, and will be responsible for the Securities Division of the Commission, which covers collective investment funds and investment business. Banks, who has spent the last six months working as a consultant to the Commission on funds-related issues will take over an area which represents a rapidly growing part of the Commission’s activities.
