Senior Miton figures will support Lloyds' debt for equity swap with Midas Capital, according to the company's Global and Extra Income funds manager Sam Liddle.
Liddle is one of four shareholders in the Midas Capital Partners group reported to have threatened to vote against the deal after an attempted management buyout of the Miton business was rejected. But, while he admits an MBO has been discussed, he denies he will try to block the Lloyds deal alongside colleagues Martin Gray, Nick Greenwood and Scott Campbell, further denying they offered £4.5m for the subsidiary.
