CII to launch 2,000 online exam stations

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) will launch online examinations at over 2,000 stations in both the UK and internationally, as part of an ongoing effort to make its exams more easily available.

The institute hopes to have the centres up during the third quarter and follows a deal with City & Guilds signed on 16 December 2004, to use its network of exam centres in corporate offices, banks and Further Education colleges. Within the terms agreed, the CII will provide a host of new soft skills and management development qualifications, while existing CII customers will also be able to establish an exam centre at their own premises.
