Health programme unveiled to Think UK business Fit

Legal and General is sponsoring a nationwide initiative by the British Heart Foundation to improve the health of the UK's workforce as well as a firm's finances.

Called Think Fit, the UK research initiative has been launched across nine regions to show employers – of all types and sizes – there is a financial benefit to helping employees better their fitness levels. A guide for employers to developing a workplace activity programme, and how to go about encouraging even small changes to an individual’s daily exercise routine, has been created by BHF as its own research suggests staff satisfaction, retention and morale are much improved if people are encouraged to be more active physically.
