HSBC Global Asset Management has appointed Guy Morrell as head of its multimanager business for the UK and the Middle East & North Africa (Mena).
Morrell will lead the development of HSBC’s multimanager presence across the UK and Mena region. He is currently in charge of the global real estate investment team within multimanager and will retain this role. Morrell will also remain lead manager on the HSBC Open Global Property fund, a fund of funds, launched in November 2007. Morrell replaces James Hughes, who is relocating to Hong Kong where he will be head of multimanager Asia-Pacific for HSBC.
